My coaching approach is YOU-oriented. What do you want to write about? Who is your intended audience? Why do you want to write a novel, short story, or a business text? Is it for the pleasure of publishing something good with your name on it? Is it to help build your business and reach prospects in a highly credible fashion? Is it (don't be shy) to make money, at least a little money?

Whatever your motivation, it is YOUR motivation, and represents the creative spark that will power your thoughts, writing, editing and perseverance to produce that all-important manuscript that is the First Stage of publication. The All-Important First Stage!

FIRST STAGE:  I coach you to gain confidence in your idea and get it written down. The 9-meeting process, described in detail in "PROGRAM", moves from a rough outline to creating chapter headlines to guide your writing to writing three chapters to gain some rhythm and confidence, then writing the full First Draft. By Session 9, you will have a DRAFT Manuscript.

 

Throughout, I work closely with you to keep you going and building your book. Think of me as that favorite high-school teacher who took a special interest in you and your talents.

 

SECOND STAGE: I refer you to an all-important editor and proof-reader to fine-tune your work into a professionally formed Final Manuscript ready for publication. 

 

THIRD STAGE: I refer you to my Amazon editor and my book cover designer to do their magic. I also refer you to subject experts in marketing, PR, and help in promoting your book based upon your goals, budget and hopes.
